Until contemporary advancements in printing technology, pen drawing was a discipline that all early illustrators had to cultivate—if they wished to see their work in print. Today, with such constraints behind us, many of the practical techniques once wielded by these artists are now being forgotten.In this collection of work, my aim has been to reclaim those traditional methods and make them available, once again, to those who are still interested in the beautiful simplicity that this medium affords.
